Ramón Bilbao Gran Reserva 2015

A classic blend of 90% Tempranillo, 1)% Mazuelo and Graciano. The grapes come from gravelly, sandy soils with limestone deposits, located in Ábalos (Caramonte), Labastida (Carrapaciña) at an altitude of 600-700m. The average age of the vines harvested for the Gran Reserva is 60-65 years old. The wine spends 36 months ageing in American oak from Ohio, Missouri. The wine is only produced in excellent vintages and was recommended by Decanter magazine following blind tasting.
