Ramón Bilbao Rosado 2023

The grapes for the Ramón Bilbao Rosado come from vineyards in the Alto Najerilla - on the foothills of the Sierra de la Demanda, from 550 to 700m above sea level. The grapes were crushed at very low temperatures, in contact with dry ice, and macerated for 3-4 hours. Subsequently the must was drained off naturally. The alcoholic fermentation process was rigorously monitored to ensure the maximum level of primary aromas from the grapes. The wine is a salmon colour, pale in intensity. It is subtle and elegant on the nose. In the mouth it has moderate intensity, and is rich in aromas of fresh citrus fruit, orange zest, white flowers and aromatic herbs.
