Cuatro Rayas Dorado en Rama

Cuatro Rayas are one of a handful of wineries still cultivating and preserving the old Palomino vines (no longer allowed to be planted in the Rueda region). With these old vines they are also preserving their winemaking heritage, producing this "amontillado" style fortified wine. Made in the solera system, there is just one "saca" and bottling per year. The wine is nutty with slightly toasted aromas and has a freshness brought from the addition of Verdejo grapes in the blend.
