Marqués de Vitoria Gran Reserva 2015

Intense red colour with garnet evolution. Very high depth. Sweet aromas of sultanas and toast from the barrel, jam and pastry too. Reminiscent of spices (clove, pepper) and cocoa. Notes of woodwork, dried grass and blond tobacco. Elegant, round, tasty. Pleasant and homogeneous on the palate. Well marked, smooth tannins. Very long aftertaste, with a hint of dried fruits and spices. Pairs well with any kind of meat, mushroom risotto, oily fish such as tuna or cod and medium-aged cheese such as emmental or gruyere.
