Appearance: Deep, intense, ruby purple to the rim. Bright and shiny. Nose: Young and focused. Fresh, dark, summer berries dominate with a hint of wood and spice in the background. Palate: Crunchy dark summer fruit dominates initial palate. Quite young and fresh, with uplifting acidity, finely wrapped in polished, fine grain tannins. Great length for a crunchy young wine. Pairing: Ideal for roasted red meats (lamb, suckling pig), grilled white meats, and small game meats such as hare and rabbit and tapas.
