About
Determined to unlock the potential of Calatayud’s oldest Garnacha vineyards and redefine the region, Fernando Mora MW founded this exciting new project. The plots are located at 600 to 1,000 metres above sea level. This altitude, combined with the sites’ northerly aspect, moderates the warm climate and provides a wide diurnal range for complex aromatics and fresh acidity. Precambrian slate and quartzite soils, along with the vines’ age, produce very low yields and impart intensity in the wines. Whole bunch fermentation is also key and produces a signature freshness and perfume in the wines.
