Grupo Solar de Samaniego

Grupo Solar de Samaniego owns two wineries, one in Laguardia (Rioja Alavesa) and the second one in Roa (Burgos), protected under the Ribera del Duero D.O. The origin of the winery is in “La Escobosa”, historic estate of Rioja Alavesa property during the XVII century of the family of Félix Mª de Samaniego, famous writer who gives name to our winery group. The family owns 88 hectares of vineyards in Rioja, located in plots near the winery, framed in the subzone “Rioja Alavesa” (D.O.Ca. Rioja), as well as 94 hectares surrounding the winery in Ribera del Duero (Bodegas Durón)
